This website has been developed to provide an overview and access to the services, products and events created and delivered by HRE AFTA Ltd. As part of these services, HRE AFTA also offers a ‘slow trends’ journal featuring articles across the subjects of Humankind, Research, Environment, Art, Fashion, Technology and Architecture. Consultancy Services

 

What we offer; Consultancy services provided by HRE AFTA Ltd include trends research, strategy and organisation development, project management, event and pop-up activities, collaborations and partner relationships, as well as training and course creation; working with commercial brands, retailers, academia, NGOs and governmental organisations. Contractual arrangements; We reserve the right to change or withdraw the Consultancy Services offered by HRE AFTA. As each project is agreed separately, the scope of work provided in these terms and conditions falls outside of the remit of this website for Consultancy Services. And therefore subject to separate terms and conditions.

 

Our team and resources; We work with a number of Partners and Networks Organisations, such as individual freelancers, specialists and creative studios on a project by project basis; by engaging HRE AFTA Ltd we accept no responsibility for the availability or work undertaken by these

 

Working with us; We work on a project by project basis; the stages of which are where we discuss project briefs and requirements, develop a proposal with costings for the completion of the work, and then agree to commence the work on a contractual basis. 
No work will be undertaken until a formal contract is in place, with the necessary clauses relating to scope of works, timelines and key milestones, payment fees and terms, confidentiality clauses, and cancellation or termination arrangements. Non-Disclosure Agreements can be an important part of this process, subject to any necessary legal checks.

 

Events

 

What we offer; HRE AFTA offers a number of events; bookable on an individual, group or in-house basis for which it charges a fee. Further details can be found at the following events section.

 

Contractual arrangements; HRE AFTA has the right to make any changes to our fees, payments, payment processing and collection methods. This may include, but is not limited to changes to our third party payment processors and currencies in which payment may be made, and is at our sole discretion.

 

Date Changes, Cancellations and Refunds; If we cancel we will only offer a refund for the purchase price of the ticket where an event has been cancelled by HRE AFTA or where we have had to re-schedule an event and the attendee can no longer attend the new date. Refunds will be made to the account holder via the method used to make payment, unfortunately we will not be able to refund third party booking fees. HRE AFTA is not responsible and takes no liability for an attendees’ travel arrangements, accommodation, or other expenses incurred for a cancelled or postponed event.

 

If you cancel; We do not offer refunds on its ticket sales or event bookings, if an attendee wishes to cancel or is no longer able to attend.

 

Resale and Transfer of tickets; Resale of tickets is prohibited and any tickets found to be resold will be forfeited and no refund will be offered and the original ticket will be cancelled. Tickets can be transferred to another attendee by the ticket holder only upon written e-mail approval from HRE AFTA Ltd, to transfer a ticket please contact events@hreafta.com, we will try to respond within 48 hours.

 

Third Party Sites; Bookings for events made through 3rd party websites i.e. Eventbrite may be subject to additional fees, terms and conditions. Please check their terms and conditions for sale and refund prior to booking.

 

Products

 

HRE AFTA will be launching its own online e-commerce store shortly, prior to launch these terms and conditions will be updated to include specific points in relation to the sale of goods. In the interim for further details, please contact store@hreafta.com.

Please read and abide by the following terms and conditions relating to the journal and other webpages, known as "the Content". 

 

Content and Intellectual Property

 

The Content provided by HRE AFTA and www.hreafta.com refers to webpages, presentations, and journal and includes any newsletters or other communications sent to you, which includes (but is not limited to) any text, photographs, images, video and audio clips, designs and logos is the intellectual property of HRE AFTA Ltd and / or remains the intellectual property of those that have licensed their material to HRE AFTA Ltd of the purposes of the article(s) published.

 

What you can and cannot do; You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, commercially exploit or otherwise use the material on www.hreafta.com in any way except for your own personal use. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any of our content except for your own personal use. Any other use of our Content requires our prior written permission.

 

In particular and without limitation to the above, you shall not;

By Intellectual Property Rights, we mean patents, trademarks, service marks, registered designs, design rights, confidential information, applications for any of the foregoing, copyright, database rights, know-how, unregistered designs, trade or business names and other similar rights or obligations anywhere in the world, whether registered or not and whether capable of registration or not. 

 

We regularly update www.hreafta.com and as such any content may be on the website for a limited period of time. We reserve the right to make changes to www.hreafta.com in our sole discretion and at any time. 

 

You agree to use www.hreafta.com only for lawful purposes, and shall not act in a way that infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit anyone else's use of the website.

 

Submitting Content

 

By submitting any article or contribution or have offered to contribute to the HRE AFTA website, you agree by submitting your contribution, to grant HRE AFTA the right to reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate create derivative works from, distribute, preform, play, make available to the public, and / or to incorporate your contribution in other works in any media now known or later developed. 


You warrant that your contribution; Is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available for purposes specified above and that it is not defamatory or doesn’t infringe on any EU law. 


You agree to indemnify HRE AFTA Ltd against all legal fees, damages, and other expenses that may be incurred by HRE AFTA Ltd as a result of your breach of the above warranty, and waive any moral rights in your contribution for the purposes of its submission to and publication on hreafta.com and the purposes specified above. 


When submitting an article please ensure that all relevant photo credits, captions and references are included, as HRE AFTA cannot be held responsible for omissions or errors due to the incomplete information. 


By making a Submission, you are consenting to its display and publication on the Site and in the Services i.e. presentations, reports; and for related online and offline promotional uses (including and not limited to social media).

 

Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

 

HRE AFTA Ltd shall have no liability to you for any and all damages, claims, proceedings, actions, awards, expenses and costs in relation to;

- Any unauthorised or unlawful use of content, information and/or other material received by or submitted to you on the website or in any communication that is made available to you

- Any links to other third party websites ("linked sites") that the website may contain. The linked sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for the contents of any linked site and the products and/or services offered on the linked sites nor any changes or updates to a linked site. If we provide these links to you then we do so only as a convenience. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement or approval by us of the linked site or any association with its operators

- The accuracy of any advertising or sponsorship provided by third parties on the website or in any communication provided to you nor in respect of its compliance with any applicable laws

- Any consequential losses (including but not limited to loss of profits, damage to goodwill, damage to reputation, loss of data, loss of programmes and/or services interruptions); economic and/or other similar losses; and/or special damages and indirect losses

In any event, our total liability to you under and/or arising in relation to these terms and conditions shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us or the sum of GBP 1,000, whichever is the higher. You shall provide to us written evidence of any claims for which it is alleged that we are liable together with written details of how any loss was caused by us and the steps you have taken to mitigate the loss (if any) before we consider your claim. 

Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury due to our negligence or any other liability which we are not permitted to exclude or limit as a matter of law. 


You shall indemnify us against any and all losses, damages, awards, costs (including legal costs), claims and any other losses and/or liabilities suffered by us arising from your misuse of the Website or arising from or due to any breach of these terms and conditions by you.

 

General

 

You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship exists between you and us as a result of this agreement or your use of the Website. 


These terms and conditions contain the entire agreement between us and supersede all prior agreements, arrangements and understandings between us. 


If any provision of these terms and conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part the validity of the other provisions of the terms and conditions and the remainder of the affected provision shall be unaffected and shall remain in full force and effect. 


Waiver by us of any breach of the terms and conditions shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same provision or any other provision. 


The terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the parties hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 


Headings in these terms and conditions are for ease of reference only and shall not affect their interpretation. 


All third party rights are excluded and no third parties shall have any right to enforce the terms and conditions. This shall not apply to our associated companies who shall have the right to enforce the terms and conditions as if they were us.

We do not warrant that the HRE AFTA website, or that any element of the website, will meet your requirements, purpose and/or expectations, nor that any of the content on the website and/or the communications is accurate or complete and we are under no obligation to verify any such content. 


The content, website and communications are provided "as is" and on an "is available" basis without any representations or any kind of warranty made (whether express or implied by law) to the extent permitted by law, including the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility and security. 


We do not provide any warranties in respect of the website or the results, availability, and/or uninterrupted use of the website. 


We may occasionally have to perform necessary network maintenance and/or network upgrades during specified time periods ("Scheduled Maintenance Windows".) In the event of plans to bring down the website during a scheduled maintenance window we will try to provide reasonable notice to you in advance of the scheduled maintenance window. You should be aware that, at any time, we may perform emergency maintenance as needed to preserve the overall integrity of the website with no notice and shall not be liable to pay any compensation to you for these activities.

This agreement is governed by English law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
